Look For Vs. Look At - Native English Grammar - Fluency Trigger
Click here to feel certain and confident when you speak English: tinyurl.com/49hpt5du
If you want to speak English fluently, you need to understand English like a native.
To see how this works, here’s a fluency trigger for the difference between “look for” and “look at”:
The man is looking FOR his car keys. This couple is looking AT their new house keys.
This man is looking FOR money. This man is looking AT money.
She’s looking FOR a book. They’re looking AT a book.
Now, you understand the difference between “look for” and “look at” more like a native. So you should feel more confident about saying these phrases!
The best part is you improved automatically, without studying any grammar rules, memorizing translations, or saying one word!
Isn’t this great?!
See, DOUBT is what really stops most English learners from speaking. Worries about vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, or anything else, can block communication.
This is why many English learners can study for years, live with natives, and try to speak every day… Yet struggle to express themselves confidently and fluently.
So instead of studying more, or forcing yourself to speak… Destroy your doubts to start speaking English like it’s your FIRST language!
If you’d like help doing this so you can speak better English, today, click here: tinyurl.com/49hpt5du
You really are closer to fluency than you might think. The moment you really understand something, you can express it confidently!

The LLM model is not new in linguistic viewpoint but it is a breakthrough in computer science, because in the first time machine can generate and response precisely. So with the keywords criteria from the language major , everyone right now could learn english at home . i used chat gpt at the early age , just create a criteria from British Council , adding some topic which i could found on the old book about linguistic found at library. Starting at writing a comment, latter, polite latter , conservation, controversy, and the end at academic topic . but technology have own limit, it dont know which sentence is good enough at personal current level , and it generate base on AI opinion. So without out instructor from mature person, the younger could be harm by collective society manner either good and bad .

And listening to your explanation about "To GO" the extra mile" I’m wondering why that’s not "To DO the extra mile" instead, what sounds more logical to me, except if I’m totally wrong, what I guess… :)

You can say "to do more than necessary." But since this comes from traveling, "go" is more natural. :)

As a person who has been learned english as a second language for his life, which way can you suggest me to transit to your way easier? Should I start real books or it's better to hear native speakers in real life? One of my advantages is that I like series and I watch them in english, If it's possible I try to download and print subtitles so if I come across some unknown words, I look them up. But living in a country that people predominantly speak local language, I'm not sure if this will help me to speak, that's my main fear.

    • @ak-cf5ze
      @ak-cf5ze 2 дні тому

Same here. It’s little bit difficult to learn English efficiently for those who live in a country where most people speak the local language and they don’t often speak English in their daily life.

We are lots in this same situation, but we have to be patient and keep confidence! I progressed a lot since I started working with this great program. I deeply believe in Drew’s way to do, because it works !!! 🤗👍🏻 I’m one of those who are a prove of the quality and the result of this work. I’m totally confident and I believe in what he does for us, my eyes closed. After many years learning English at school, I couldn’t imagine it was possible for me to be fluent one day. And yet I begin to think that I was wrong… THANKS A LOT! 🤩❤

  • @josearturoorellanahernande3202

The problem for the people it's that they need to listen every day the conversation .. that makes in your mind more big the knowledge more broad and then that helps so much the hearing .. later on you can speak the new language. Every day this all the times make the difference .. all time you can listen all the focus or relation of some important in that sequence of speaking..

I wanted to ask you something..... in another of your videos you explain a prompt to learn vocabulary as a native.... if I take that story, I convert it into audio and listen to it for 1 week, for 2 or 3 hours a day. ... could the brain capture it for later use? thank you so much.

Click here to start speaking fluently: tinyurl.com/52ev5c4z Click here to get native pronunciation: englishanyone.com/frederick This video reveals the simple process for thinking about English grammar like a native, rather than an English student, so you learn quickly, and express yourself correctly. :) The "trick" to using correct grammar is to STOP focusing on the rules. Instead, you think about what you want to express, and then get examples of how natives say these things. "Grammar" is just the rules for how words are ordered in sentences. But we really think first about expressing ideas and situations, rather than beginning with specific words or sentence structures, since there are many ways we can express ourselves. Here are some examples of 5 common situations, and the different vocabulary natives might use. They're all simple, and all correct. As you learn more, you'll recognize a greater variety of English, and be prepared for more situations: Expressing Desires or Wants: Why it's common: We often tell people what we need or want. General situations: Ordering food, asking for things, saying what you want. Vocabulary: "I would like a cup of coffee." "Can I have the bill, please?" "I want to buy a new phone." Making Plans or Future Intentions: Why it's common: We often talk about what we are going to do next. General situations: Talking about weekend plans, planning meetings, saying what you will do. Vocabulary: "I am going to visit my parents this weekend." "We will have a meeting at 10 AM tomorrow." "She is planning to travel next month." Giving and Asking for Directions or Instructions: Why it's common: We often need to know how to go somewhere or do something. General situations: Asking for directions, learning how to use things, following instructions. Vocabulary: "Can you tell me how to get to the train station?" "Turn left at the next intersection." "How do I operate this machine?" Making Requests or Asking for Help: Why it's common: We often ask others to do things for us or help us. General situations: Asking for help at work, finding things in a store, asking questions. Vocabulary: "Could you help me with this report?" "Can you assist me in finding this product?" "I need help with my homework." Expressing Likes and Dislikes: Why it's common: We often talk about what we like or don't like. General situations: Talking about hobbies, food preferences, saying what you like to do. Vocabulary: "I like playing soccer." "I don’t enjoy spicy food." "She loves reading books."
